Inspired by the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation interactive map, I set out on finding a new way to illustrate this data. 
I decided that it would be interesting, to create a fantasy environment in which the landscape is shaped by the level of deprivation. 
Deprived areas- that are largely ignored- become mountains that are seen for miles.
The model was driven by height map in Maya, and the interactive version runs on Unity.
